Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These terms apply to In Someone Else's Shoes — the browser games (USA 1971–1991, Japan 1980–2005) and the ChatGPT app that plays them through our MCP service — provided by ND SaaS Solutions LLP (ТОО «ND SaaS Solutions»), Kazakhstan (“we”). By playing, you accept these terms.

1. A free game

The game is free. There are no subscriptions, purchases or paid features, and donations are not connected.

2. Simulation, not financial advice

All money, salaries, investments, loans, houses and trades in the game are fictional. Nothing is bought or sold for real and no money is transferred. The game replays historical prices and statistics with simplified rules for learning and entertainment; the sources and simplifications are listed in the game. Results describe past periods under game rules — they are not forecasts, investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and must not be relied on for real decisions.

3. Using the service

4. Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue the game, its rules or its data, and update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continued use means you accept the updated terms.

5. Content and code

The game's source code is published under the MIT License in the GitHub repository. Historical data comes from the public sources named in the game.

6. No warranty, limitation of liability

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the game, including decisions made on the basis of it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless mandatory law of your country provides otherwise.
